Computer Advice

We want to help all our U3A members to overcome their computer problems and to make members aware of the wide range of things that can be done using the internet.

Scout & Guide HQ (Computer Advice Centre)
Monday and Tuesday (apart from Bank Holidays)
10.00 - 12.00
Coordinator:  Willem Wiechers - 01695 573744

The computer advice centre is situated behind the main rooms of HQ. The suite is reached by walking past the main entrance to another door on the right.

It is furnished with a number of computers, laptops, printers, iPads and some other tablets.

So if you have a problem with your computer  or you don’t know how to do something on it, and you need some advice, come along. If you have a laptop, iPad or other tablet, bring it along with you. We give personal one-to-one help on software problems including email and attachments, processing photos, computer security, networking, Skype, tablet apps etc.

No appointments needed. But check availability over holiday times such as Christmas, Easter and Summer.

For more information (or if you would like to offer any help), please contact Willem on 01695 573744 or email or elearning@aughton-ormskirk-u3a.co.uk

We also hold Computer Tutorials on specific topics and run short Computer Courses. Everyone is welcome to these too.
