We are learning and practising routines in many Ballroom and Latin-American (including the Argentine Tango), popular sequence, and classical sequence (new name for old-time) dances. All these are taught by our ever-patient teacher, Ann Breen, ably assisted by her husband, Kevin.
We restarted our taught sessions on 8 and 10 September and will run until 1 and 3 December (with no break at half-term).
This year our Christmas party will be on 8 December.
The provisional date for our next trip to Blackpool Tower Ballroom is Tuesday, 13 October. As usual this will include return coach travel, entrance to the Tower Ballroom, and a carvery meal at The Hilton Hotel, Blackpool. The cost is yet to be finalised. Our Winter Ball will take place at Ormskirk Civic Hall on Friday, 27 November with dancing from 8.00 pm. Dress will be formal. Tickets will be £4.00 each and will be available in September. Again please contact any of the above.

All payments should be made in full on the due date – £15 pays for a half term of six sessions. If you have any payment queries, please speak to the Group Treasurer or Coordinator.
The Coordinators meet on a regular basis together with the Teacher and to discuss future events etc. If you have any items you would like to have discussed at our next meeting, please speak to the Coordinator.
