The 2015-2016 season commences in September.
U3A members who are not registered members of the Institute who wish to try their hand at snooker or return to it please contact The Group Leader or Coordinator who will arrange ‘guest’ attendances for you to help you decide whether to subscribe to the Institute and join the U3A group if you wish. Subscriptions are due in September, at the start of the new season, and members are urged to recruit during the August/September period.
The last season proved successful with Autumn and Winter Leagues being organised and followed by a Spring Knockout Competition; in addition our ongoing home and away matches were played against Southport U3A. Some members took advantage of a professional coaching session and some with other Institute members were entertained at an evening with professional/presenter Ken Doherty recently and are looking forward to the visit by Steve Davis in July.
