Beer Appreciation

We are spreading our wings as in visits to more new towns:

• We have been to Waterloo and Crosby, Chester and Lancaster
• September will be another short tour of the Aughton Pubs as our “Beer Monster” Group Leader is off to India to check out the origins of I.P.A.
• October 23 is a visit to the Parker Micro Brewery in Banks.
• November is still to be finalised.
• December 4 is our Christmas special at The Cricketers preceded by a few looseners in Ormskirk ‘Best Real Hostelries’

We now have a  couple of vacancies. If anybody wants to join, then please contact me by email or by text – 07801 106335. We have nearly 30 members.

We hope many ladies might like to join us who would not normally go out on their own to a pub and we hope that with our friendly group ladies and chaps who live on there own will come out with us. On all our outings we use public transport and walking.

We like to encourage friendship, conviviality, meeting up with new friends in the U3A, but mainly to have some good FUN.
